Recommendations for Improving Beach Cleanliness16 korr 2026
★★★★★Dear Municipality of Golem, Thank you for maintaining the beautiful beaches of Golem. I would like to share a few suggestions that could help keep them clean and protect the marine environment. During the busy summer season, public waste bins should be emptied more frequently throughout the day to prevent overflowing. It would also be helpful to install more waste bins along the promenade, beach entrances, and throughout the beach, making it easier for visitors to dispose of their rubbish properly. In addition, more visible signs reminding people not to litter and to clean up after themselves could encourage more responsible behaviour. During my visit, I noticed plastic waste, including broken water balloon pieces, left in the sea. This pollution harms marine life and affects everyone. Public awareness and environmental education are essential to keeping Golem's beaches clean and enjoyable for future generations. Thank you for considering these suggestions.
